The impact of clothing poverty in adolescents should not be underestimated. Not having the right clothes not only affects a young person’s self-worth but could also have a significant negative impact on their life opportunities, thereby perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

At Material Difference, we aim to address this issue and provide quality clothing that will instil a sense of pride and confidence in the wearer in the hope that this will encourage them to participate more fully in school and social activities.
